Meet Your Acting Coach: Jennifer Castillo

I’m Jennifer Castillo, a professional actress and acting coach, and I’m here to help you take your skills to the next level whether you're prepping for your next big role or starting out.

With a BA (Hons) in Drama, Enhance DBS and a foundation in stage and screen, I bring over a decade of experience in performance and coaching. Thanks to my work in television, film, and theatre, including appearances on Netflix and BBC One, I can provide practical industry advice into every session.

My Methodology:

My approach blends classical training with contemporary techniques, drawing from Stanislavski, Laban, Meisner, improvisation and more. I love helping actors and public speakers build confidence, stay grounded and present in the moment, actively listening to allow bold, truthful choices on stage and on camera.

Whether you’re working on an audition, developing your performance skills in any specific genre or need help improving confidence for public speaking, I’ll meet you where you are. I will provide you with tailored guidance (a 10 week lesson plan will be created from our first free introductory lesson), honest and constructive feedback, and most importantly a safe, supportive space to grow that will allow true reactions to come through naturally. Our studio is conveniently located in SE1 1LB (Borough High Street) London Bridge, easily accessible by public transport.

Absolutely! We welcome beginners and provide foundational training to build confidence and craft in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

You can register your interest through our website by completing the free introductory lesson form, or you may book a session directly via our interactive calendar, which displays real-time availability.

For in-person sessions at our London Bridge studio, you will receive a welcome package along with the full studio address prior to your first lesson. For online sessions, a welcome package and a Microsoft Teams link will be sent, please ensure you have a reliable, high-speed internet connection for the best experience.

If you prefer private coaching at your home, please book an introductory lesson and provide your full address. This will allow us to calculate any applicable travel expenses, and further details will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Yes! We offer coaching specifically designed to prepare you for auditions, including cold reading techniques, self-tape mastery, and even audition accompaniment and support on the day.

We offer personalised one-to-one coaching in person and online, self-tape training, audition technique classes, public speaking courses, and beginner acting courses for both screen and stage. Our goal is to support actors at all levels, from complete beginners to professionals.

Our training integrates classical and contemporary methods including Stanislavski, Meisner, Laban, improvisation, Uta Hagen and more — all adapted for practical, career-focused application.

We plan to produce original films, series, and theatre projects where our students can participate and gain real-world experience. We also welcome script submissions from writers interested in collaborating with our students and production company.

8. What is your Cancellation Policy?

More than 5 Days’ Notice: If you cancel or reschedule more than 5 days in advance, you are entitled to: A full refund (if cancelling), Or a free reschedule to a new agreed date. 48 Hours to 5 Days Before the Lesson: If you cancel or reschedule between 48 hours and 5 days before the scheduled lesson, you have two options: 1-Receive a 50% refund, or 2- Choose to add half the missed session time to your next lesson (e.g., turn a 1-hour session into a 1.5-hour session). Less than 48 Hours’ Notice: If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before your lesson: The full lesson fee will be charged, and No refunds or reschedules will be offered.
